Hey Ben, just so I understand, are you upset by that fact that there are copy pirates, or that the copy pirates are based in Russia?
I poked around on pdfdrive and libgen and all I found were persistent sketchy pop-ups and links to very sketchy ads. Have any of you used these recently?
And BTW, the whole site could be called "sketchy" by definition of being a pirate site.
I use an adblocker on my browser so I did not see any ads on Libgen. I am not familiar with pdfdrive.
The publishers have been trying for years to get pdfdrive taken down.
Thank you so much for the .li version of LibGen: the Russia-hosted version seems virtually defunct, good to see a Liechtenstein version!
I use Forvo for Icelandic.
