Regarding Podcast Notes / Podcast Magic: Check out the app Snipd for podcast notes on steroids. It's basically purpose-built for anyone serious about retaining and organizing podcast notes.

Snipd automatically transcribes full podcast episodes and lets you search within those transcripts. It then creates AI-generated summaries and chapters, so you don't have to listen to the whole thing to decide if it's worth your time.

The coolest feature, similar to what Podcast Magic does, is that you can create a "snip" at the moment you hear something interesting and it will automatically summarize your snipd and save it along with the transcript.

It's a freemium service. This referral link gives one month of Premium. I don't get any benefit from the referral (other than the satisfaction of sharing a really cool app), so I hope it's ok for me to share my link: https://get.snipd.com/pAbF/detsyvv2

"Snap-on phone charger" should be "Snap-on iPhone charger". You might be surprised to find out that some of your subcribers don't actually own iPhones. And won't. Ever.

Please try to understand that somewhat foreign concept.

When you broadcast "This service, called Podcast Magic, requires no app, no sign-in, no ongoing subscription." I'm interested. But when I go to the App Store and there is one recommendation I wonder...

Lots of really nice tools this week. Sounds like something might be brewing behind the scenes… maybe? Am super curious to know. As a podcaster, this seems like a super cool way to grab the best moments when i listen back each show and be able to share them organically. Totally going to reach out and pay them and also ask if they have a white-labelish version i can use. Transcriptions i have been doing with gemini lately since i can throw it a podcast video link from youtube and it can parse it directly and create shownotes and transcripts (even a substack version). Always nice to find unique ways to distribute content as a fledgling podcast trying to grow organically.
