Years ago I learned too make my next haircut appointment as I left my current haircut. A game changer. And since I’ve retired, my haircutter sets up all my appointments for the year in December, using my preferred days of the week and times. Works well.
Countdown Days Since and Until: and it has widgets you can add to the homescreen if you want a nice tracker when you open your phone and dont want to open the app itself. I use many widgets that have real time tracking involved for quick glance things (calendar schedules, maps, anytext for quick notes i need to know now, etc). Best use of homescreen real estate.
I’ve begun making a calendar entry for periodic tasks (like changing sheets) that I otherwise neglect for longer than I’d like. Once I’m reminded to do the task, I simply edit the calendar entry with a new date at my preferred interval from the date I actually did it.
If you’re on an iPhone you can use the Reminders app. Name a new task then click the “i” circle on the right to set a date. A little further down click on “repeat” and set how frequently you’d like to accomplish the task. This will save you the trouble of changing the date each time.
For example, I use it to remind me to water my plants every Sunday!….
Claudia, if you are looking for an Android app, Android users should try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.periodically
Thank you!
