Diving a little into physics myself, I have recently read “Faraday, Maxwell, and the electromagnetic field”, which at a glance would seem to be only about electromagnetic energy - or electricity at best. This book actually maps all of that as well as the fundamentals of modern physics starting from ideas conceived and experimented by Faraday. Solidified by scientific mathematical equations from Maxwell. And ultimately bringing us to the multiple theories and discoveries that have deeply shaped our modern world. Highly recommend reading for anyone who would like to know the intricate details of the story of modern science.
