Facebook marketplace has been my goto for finding things at a good price locally. I have also been able to find better prices outside of my local search area shipped to me. Usually there is a little more risk involved so you have to be careful. Ive found it also a great place to connect with local community pages in order to buy or sell things in bulk by setting up a yard sale type of even. You let people in a certain radius of your home know about the sale through the community. Bonus if you are able to leverage things like cashapp or a card scanner so they can pay for more expensive items quickly. I did this in 2012 and quickly sold off a house full of items before I relocated from one part of the country to another. It was surprisingly successful and I was able to interact with people in real time to know when they might show up for the larger furniture items.
