what about when I want the volume up button to push the volume up, as it does now?
It works when the camera is on.
tried it, thanks. no, I must've toggled some Setting. it's also supposed to respond to a voice SHOOT. no. I've asked on Reddit.
You don't have to toggle it, or turn it on. It is the default mode in the iPhone. It only works when camera is on. Otherwise it is volume up.

thanks, yes, on my Galaxy it's under Shooting Methods. There, my Volume key method is toggled on, so I tried it again. *Seemingly* nothing, as I expected a flash indoors. But then checking Gallery there are a bunch of shots. DOH!
