I also really enjoyed "In the Shadow of the Sword". Spotify now has an audiobooks section and available there (if you are a Spotify subscriber). The author (Tom Holland) has a podcast called The Rest is History, which is also very good.

If you are a public library patron, you can add Kanopy to your streaming services. It is free. It has a terrific interface with Academy Award winners and nominees, movies from books, Great Courses, quality selections for kids etc. The five Love & Sex documentaries are mind blowing especially the two on Russia and Japan. I especially like the quirky movies aimed at an older audience that eludes the other services. An example would be Hope Gap with Anette Bening and Bill Nighy.

Every citizen should have a library card and visit often even if to borrow People magazine. It is the data on circulation that city budgets look at. Support your library, now.
