I’m on vacation this week and also had ChatGPT provide some recommendations. Here’s a couple prompts that I think are helpful to get the best results...
“I’m going on vacation next week so I’d like you to act as a travel guide. We are going to <insert location> for a week. What do you need to know about me in order to provide the best possible recommendations?” It asked me 7 easy questions before it gave me suggestions.
“Please list your recommendations in table format with the columns being name, type of activity, city, website url, and best time of day to visit.” I then copied and pasted this table in Google Sheets and shared it with the family. Now it’s a sortable table so we can easy find things to do.
Re: Kindle- 8 out of 10 factors… I am left hanging here as a lover of paper books and an owner of a Kindle I bought in the pandemic and abandoned as soon as the library reopened.
I’ve been listening to Conversations with Tyler since he started doing them. The interview with KK was great, as they all are. Even when I don’t know the guest there is something interesting to learn.
The Paperwhite 11 Kids version - with cover, extra insurance and free kids’ books - is often the same price as the “normal” version. Yet it’s exactly the same device, and the kids stuff can be ignored or turned off. It’s rather fascinating why anyone buys the “normal” version...
